One thing that Tony and I have agreed on for our wedding is that we will have a photobooth. So since I am only working casual hours for the next few months, I have decided to make a bunch of props for fun times. Using a mixture of felt and paint and cardboard, then ta da! instant fantastic times.

In the last month I have been working around 3 days a week and it has been great. This week I am starting to get bored and sick of my own company at home. well angus and remo, our kittens are balls of fun, but they have spent the day sleeping.

Today was actually quite productive, i woke up, put our doona cover in the wash, i cleaned out the laundry and gave our kittens fresh litter which they both used immediately (even though they both cant fit in it, angus had his head and arms poking out the little door of it) I put a little wooden ladder in my bathroom to put my towels on, and re organised all of our tools outside, i hung our doona out and watered our lettuces and herbs. then i changed the position of some buttons on my coat because it is too big and i haven't even worn it yet, but i will be wearing it tomorrow night at the archie opening. then i listened to dr karl on jjj and drew up pictures of beards and glasses to start making props. made props by then it was 2pm and i had nothing left to do. made a sandwich, got into a smoking debate on facebook, got frankie magazine in the mail, wasted an hour reading through it. made some toast. now what to do? maybe i will make a fort with the cats with our dirty sheets because they LOVE playing in the sheets. who doesn't ?

Yesterday however I did almost nothing at all. I woke up to a message saying "modest mouse at splendour" from Tony. I got so excited I rang my friend Diana, got her voicemail, shouted for 5 minutes about modest mouse, hung up. got dressed, recieved a text from Diana saying she would be at my house soon and we would have coffee and breakfast. she came over we looked up the entire lineup for splendour, screamed and shouted "HOLY MACKEREL" and "OH MY GOODNESS" when i realised that the wild beasts were playing too. I contemplated running outside and rolling in the dirt i was so excited. We put the coffee on and had avocado and mustard seeds on toast for breakfast. then we talked about splendour some more. All we managed to do yesterday was have breakfast, walk to the post office, make lunch, and fix her birthday dress. By 5pm we had exhausted ourselves by doing nothing and went our separate ways.
